ComputerTime 3.0 Released

Many have asked for one set of limits across all of the PC's in their home. Now it is possible with ComputerTime 3.0. The new networked limits feature is great. This means that setting limits just got a lot easier, and you have more control. And if you are big fan of Time Tokens, centralized settings means that you no longer have to keep track of which Time Tokens will work on each computer.

Even if you don't make use of the network feature, ComputerTime 3.0's reliability has been improved and it cooperates better with Internet security applications and with Windows. It's more secure even in Safe Mode, and we've closed down a few obscure subversions customers reported.

Making ComputerTime work across the network — in a way that is easy for you to setup — took a lot of effort on our part. We also added dozens of other improvements to make your experience as smooth as possible.

ComputerTime 3.0 is supported on Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000.
(For Windows 98, ME refer to notes here)

Upgrading from ComputerTime 2.0

If you've been using ComputerTime 2.0 on multiple computers, perhaps you've found it difficult setting separate sets of limits on every computer and having the kids move around to different computers. You will definitely want to upgrade to ComputerTime 3.0. Shared limits will make your life much easier.

Even if you're using it on a single computer, you'll enjoy improved performance and added security.

Using your ComputerTime 2.0 Product Key, you can upgrade to ComputerTime 3.0. The special price is 50% off the regular ComputerTime 3.0 Family Pack price. For $24.95, you can enjoy the new benefits today! (Your Product Key can be found by clicking on About ComputerTime from the ComputerTime icon menu on the task bar. If it's not there, then click here.)

Something a little extra for you... Everybody who upgrades will get the ComputerTime Family Pack so that it can be installed on more than one computer as part of that upgrade.

It's a fast and pain free upgrade. ComputerTime 3.0 will install right over your current version, and will use your existing profiles and limits. Once installed, you'll see a Configuration Wizard that will ask you some simple, non-technical questions to decide if and how limits will be shared on your network.

If you have any questions about the new version, upgrading concerns, or anything else, please email us. We like hearing from you and want to help you out. To retrieve a lost product key, click here.
